Learn to Meditate
with Yoga Nidra
-with Special Guest Renee Mollitt
Sun Nov 13th, 2022
Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that takes you on a slow journey inward, the goal being to hover on the edge between the states of sleep and wakefulness. This helps calm the nervous system, and bring clarity of the mind. It is a very healing practice which takes us out of the normal patterns of the mind. Many people report sleeping very well after a Yoga Nidra. Other benefits can be a heightened immune system, and reduction of anxiety.
Come join me in welcoming special guest and gifted yoga therapist and instructor, Renee Mollitt to Safe Haven, where she will spend an afternoon with us, guiding us into a delicious state of complete relaxation.
No yoga experience of flexibility are required. We will be doing the practice sitting in the comfy chairs of Safe Haven, with our heads back and our body relaxed.
Yoga Nidra is based on entry into altered states where the body is consciously asleep but awareness is present. It allows us to drop the seed of our intention into the center of our consciousness. Often intentions are purely mental. Yoga Nidra helps our intentions to have a direct link to the universe, thereby creating an opportunity for direct manifestation.

About Renee Mollitt
Renee is certified yoga instructor a holistic health coach, mother, a playful philosopher and an explorer of life and self. She is passionate about yoga and has been practicing and teaching yoga for over a decade. Renee became a yoga instructor so I could share with others this incredible practice and its ability to infinitely teach us new things about ourselves, our true potential and how to better connect with ourselves and the world around us. Renee’s desire to explore yoga more deeply led to an additional 300 hour certificate training in Yoga Therapeutics. Yoga Therapy is proving to be a valuable tool for those suffering from stress, depression, chronic tension and pain and many other physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges or for anyone wanting to enhance an existing practice. She believes that the more we practise yoga the closer we come to embracing and reconnecting with our desire to be the best that we can be as individuals and the better we are able to adapt to our ever changing environments.
