Sanctuary Sunday with Special Guest Carmelle Lanteigne-
The Drum Beat of Our Hearts
The first sound we hear while in utero is a beat, a primal beat, of the heart of our mother. That beat sounds very much like a drum. So drum beats set up a familiar resonance inside us.
It’s instinctual, part of our DNA to want to drum. The first instrument that was ever made was a drum, in prehistoric times, by cave people. So drums go way back in our history. They represent a type of communication that surpasses all other.
A drum beat is healing. Ten minutes of drumming has the same effect on our body, mind and spirit as 5 hours of meditation. It’s an intelligent vibration. The drum beat will find where healing is needed, filling in the cracks and crevices inside us that have developed over the layers and layers of the imprints life has left behind. The drum is an ally. It helps us to heal, to get answers, to start something new. It connects to our heart, to our Spirit Team, to the 4 directions, to nature, grounding us to Mother Earth’s energy, to everything that is.
Imagine being able to tap into another dimension of consciousness to get answers and insight for a situation in your life. Through a practice called Shamanic Journeying, you can access a higher form of consciousness to seek and receive this type of guidance and healing for yourself.
This Sanctuary Sunday, join me in welcoming very special guest Carmelle Lanteigne to Safe Haven. Carmelle will walk us through a sacred experience of drumming, the beat linking us to the 4 directions and our Spirit Team. She will then take us on a Shamanic Journey, to allow us to ask a question or seek guidance or even to meet our Spirit Animal.
The drumming brings us into connection with ourselves, with our intuition, with our truth- the ultimate path to self-love. The drum beat can reach the deepest parts of us that need to be seen, heard, healed and released all the while following an intention you set for yourself to receive and be cared for.
For simplicity, Sanctuary Sunday zoom events are now a flat rate of $34. Additional donations are always graciously accepted. Register below. A specific address for the event will be shared upon registration.
Carmelle has a native heritage and a love of drums and the Divinely connected resonance they have. She is eager to add to her tribe and teach her passion of drumming. She connects to the Akashic records where she is able to extract information for herself as well as others. Carmelle enjoys gathering people together in ritual and is looking forward to sharing drumming with us.
